Art was introduced to Lori at a very young age by her Grandmother and is a common bond shared with her son Seth.

Through the years she has experimented with pen and ink, watercolor, three dimensional decoupage, acrylics, and most recently, oils. Lori has been the featured artist for Mount Nittany Medical Center’s main hallway display on several occasions. She also has had her work displayed at the Bellefonte Art Museum, State College Frame and Gallery, Good Intent Cidery, DBI Springboard, Schlow Library, and University Wine Company. Her work is currently on display at DBI/Springboard in Bellefonte. Lori’s Double Arch acrylic painting was selected for the Images 2023 juried fine art exhibition of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the arts. Her piece was one of 51 chosen from 374 submitted for inclusion in this prestigious show. This same event in 2024 accepted another of Lori’s paintings, an acrylic, titled “Between the Ropes”, which was awarded Viewers Choice. Lori was also interviewed by the on-line magazine, Canvas Rebel. She recently was juried into the Farmland Preservation Artists of Centre County group. Happy Valley Adventure Bureau will be displaying several of Lori’s works for a show in 2025.

Lori enjoys horseback riding and adventures in the western states, playing the fiddle and banjo, clogg dancing, and competitive defensive and combat pistol shooting.

She resides in a small log cabin with her husband Rocky and dog/cat Shorty.
